Savor Mexican and Salvadoran Cuisine at Chile Pepper

For more than two decades, Middle River’s Chile Pepper has introduced locals to the colors and flavors of Mexican and Salvadoran food. From burritos to pupusa, the kitchen team crafts everything from scratch in the kitchen using fresh, high-quality ingredients.

If you’re in the mood for Mexican food, order a round of tacos stuffed with familiar meats like pork or chicken or something a bit more unusual like goat or beef tongue. Want to try something new? The pupusas are thick corn tortillas native to El Salvador that come stuffed with white cheese and, if you like, meat or beans. Order your pupusas with chicken, pork, or a mix of different proteins. You can also dig into specialty house entrees like the camarones al diablo, which are shrimp tossed in a spicy Mexican sauce, or the bistec encebollado, steak seared with onions served with rice, beans, and salad.
