Fill Up on Fresh Seafood at Sunset Cove
Sunset Cove, on Red Rose Farm Road in Bowleys Quarters, is a wonderful New American restaurant offering marinaside seating and incredible views of the water. With plenty of outdoor seating, it’s the perfect place to hang out all summer long.
Sunset Cove bills itself as “Middle River’s Original Beach Bar,” and the ambience here certainly gives it that vibe. Grab a table on top of the sand and take in fantastic live music while you peruse the seafood-centric menu. Enjoy a rockfish wrap with crab dip, or go the surf and turf route with the steak and crabcake combination. Be sure to come thirsty, too: with an excellent array of interesting, summery cocktails, it might be hard to select just one. The Seaside Lemonade looks like a delight, with its combination of strawberry lemonade vodka, regular lemonade and cranberry juice, and lemon-lime soda. If you’re looking to go big, pick out a fish bowl — to sip alone or share with a friend.
