Christmas Village in Baltimore Has Returned for Its 2019 Season
The holiday season is in full swing, and there’s no better place to enjoy seasonal cheer than the Christmas Village in Baltimore. Taking over West Shore Park in the Inner Harbor through Dec. 24, the market is modeled after a traditional German or European holiday market, filled with joy, camaraderie, and culinary delights! Housed within rustic wooden huts situated near the Walter Sondheim Fountain and along the waterfront, 50 vendors will be on-site to sell handmade, internationally source wares—think holiday ornaments, unique jewelry, and artisan-made crafts. After shopping for everyone on your nice list this year, refuel with some European fare. Grab a bratwurst or schnitzel and pair it with a beer or a hot glass of mulled wine for the ultimate German market experience.
Keep an eye on Christmas Village’s events calendar, too, for advance notice of special happenings such as wine and beer tastings and discounts for first responders!
