The Baltimore St. Patrick’s Day Parade and 5K Returns March 15
Don your greenest outfit and consider joining thousands of other Baltimore locals on Saturday, March 15, for the city’s annual St. Patrick’s Day Parade and 5K race. The fun begins with the charity race at 1:15 pm, and once you’re finished cheering for the runners (or running yourself), just stay in place to enjoy the floats, marching bands, bagpipe players, and Irish dancing troupes in the parade. Both the race and parade end at the Inner Harbor, where you’ll find a lively Irish heritage festival in full swing for the rest of the day.
Keep in mind that since both the race and the parade run on the same route through the city, the streets will be closed for much of the day. Be sure to head down early (or take public transit) to avoid road closures. Want to reserve parking ahead of time? The parade is partnering with SpotHero to make it a breeze (see the website for details).
