March 17 Near Arbors at Baltimore Crossroads: The Cuisine of Ireland for St. Paddy’s Day Cooking Class
Whether you’re comfortable coming to Schola Cooking School or would prefer to stay at home, you shouldn’t miss out on experiencing The Cuisine of Ireland for St. Paddy’s Day. That’s why this local culinary arts center is holding both in-person and virtual classes inspired by the upcoming holiday.
Pick your format and sign up online for the class, which begins at 6 p.m. on March 17th for both sections. If you opt to stay home, you’ll have to gather your own ingredients for the virtual class ($35), while the socially-distanced in-person class includes all the supplies you need ($80). Learn how to craft Irish classics like shepherd’s pie, garlic and Guinness steamed mussels, and potato boxtys filled with creamed bacon. If you take the in-person class, you’ll also make dessert—Irish pancakes stuffed with apples and Nutella, plus brown bread ice cream.
