Gunpowder Falls State Park: Explore the Great Outdoors

A nearby place to explore the beauty of nature is Gunpowder Falls State Park. You’ll find trails to explore and beaches to relax on, with incredible views for days. When you arrive, start with a walk on the trails. They do have maps, but the trail signs are almost a better indicator of where to go to get to where you want to go. Or just wander and see where you end up if you have all day! After a hike, head to the water to cool off! A feature of the park is Hammerman Beach, where you can grab a kayak rental and get out on the water. Rates are about $25 per hour, which is worth it to see the park from a totally different vantage point. The entry fee is $3 for Maryland residents and totally worth every penny!
